This photo was taken in the period of my journey in West Papua last August. Kampung Yensei, Wamesa District only has one school which is only available for elementary grade. With minimum facilities, these kids seemed happy despite their lack of luck in getting appropriate education.

ReplyDeleteour government should pay more attention to the east. concidering many school is now doing everything just to get tittle: Sekolah Nasional Berstandar Internasional...
I think our government have done something very well mori. They get free education, but the problem is their infrastructure is sorry-read. They need more schools. And as long as I know, the teachers are highly paid.
